"PROVIDING EQUAL ACCESS TO LEGAL SERVICES"
If you have been accused of a crime, do not simply plead guilty. Pleading guilty to any
criminal offense will result in a criminal conviction that will affect you for the rest of your life.
Whenever you apply for a job, rent an apartment, apply for a loan, or even buy insurance, you will be judged — and harmed — by that one mistake.
As a criminal lawyer, Shantrice Alexander represents clients charged with the following types of cases: DWI, Drug Cases, Assault, Sex Offenses, Sexual Assaults, Credit Card Abuse, Felony Theft, Misdemeanor Theft, Misdemeanor and Felony Evading Arrest or Evading Detention, Burglary, Probation Violation, Welfare Fraud, Robbery, Criminal Trespass or Trespassing, Driving with a Suspended License, Occupational Drivers License, Arson, Weapons Charge, Kidnapping, Criminal Mischief, Retaliation, Forgery, Public Lewdness, Juvenile Crimes, Expunctions, White Collar Crimes, Terroristic Threat, Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle and all Other Criminal Matters.
Let Us Stand Up and Fight the Government for You
If you have been accused of or are under investigation for a criminal allegation, then the
incident could remain a part of your record for the rest of your life. It could cause the loss of
your civil privileges, including employment, licenses, and/or your freedom. A conviction
could also result in deportation if you are not a U.S. Citizen! Furthermore, some convictions
will prevent you from being able to possess a firearm. Failure to comply would expose you to
additional prosecution for another state or federal offense. Choosing your lawyer is one of the
most important decisions of your life.
DO NOT GIVE UP. In order to arrest you, the police only needed “probable cause.” That is
very easy for them to allege in most cases. However, the District Attorney must prove you
guilty “beyond a reasonable doubt,” which is the highest evidentiary standard in the law. Just
because you have been arrested DOES NOT mean that you are guilty. Do not forget “probable
cause” is only a tiny fraction of the evidence the government needs to hold you liable.
Remember that you are presumed innocent under the U.S. Constitution!
I CAN HELP YOU. You probably do not deal with the criminal justice system on a daily
basis. I do. What people do not know about their legal rights, can, and most often does, hurt
them. You would not go into a gun fight with a butter knife. If you performed surgery on
yourself, you would likely bleed to death. Ask yourself why you would even consider going
into court facing incarceration without the best representation.
